Set 1- SUNO 18, Paul Quinn 25
Paul Quinn stormed out to an early lead, capitalizing on Southern attack errors and strong kills from Carrie Weston, Makaila Piggee, and Jayden Jones. SUNO fought back midway through the set, with Malaysia Hudson, Samaria Berry, and Kendrece Dozier providing key kills to close the gap after a timeout.
The Knights rallied to within four at 12–16, thanks to scrappy play and a balanced attack from Hudson, Berry, and Taszia Adkinson. However, Paul Quinn's offense—led by Weston, Jones, and Jakayla Morrow—proved too steady down the stretch. Despite a late surge of points from SUNO that cut into the deficit, Paul Quinn sealed the set on a kill from Morrow, taking it 25–18.
Set 2- SUNO 25, Paul Quinn 21
Paul Quinn jumped out to a quick 2–0 lead behind early Southern attack errors, but SUNO quickly regrouped. Malaysia Hudson and Samaria Berry found their rhythm at the net, while Uriah Larry and Ja'Myra Tyler provided key blocks to shift momentum. The Knights turned a 4–4 tie into a 6–4 advantage and never trailed again.
SUNO's offense began to roll midway through the set, highlighted by kills from Taszia Adkinson, Hudson, and Berry, with Armoni Harris sparking a strong run at the service line. By the time Paul Quinn called timeout at 14–8, the Knights were in full control.
Although Paul Quinn responded with kills from Carrie Weston, Jayden Jones, and A'Niyah Harrison, SUNO's balanced attack proved too much. Kendrece Dozier added late kills, and Adkinson sealed the set with a decisive finish.
Set 3- SUNO 7, Paul Quinn 25
Paul Quinn came out firing in the third set and never looked back. The Tigers opened with an 11–1 run, fueled by JaQuelle Felton, Makaila Piggee, and Jakayla Morrow at the net, as well as multiple service aces that kept Southern on its heels.
SUNO tried to regroup with kills from Taszia Adkinson and Malaysia Hudson, but unforced errors and a relentless Paul Quinn attack widened the gap. Key service runs by Ashely Sanchez and Ceyara Cox pushed the Tigers comfortably ahead, leaving little room for a comeback.
Despite late efforts from Hudson and Armoni Harris, Paul Quinn closed out the set with a dominant 25–7 victory, regaining full control of the match.
Set 4- SUNO 9, Paul Quinn 25
Paul Quinn controlled the fourth set from start to finish. Behind strong blocking from JaQuelle Felton and Makaila Piggee, the Tigers built an early 9–1 lead and forced SUNO on the defensive.
Southern struggled to find rhythm, despite brief sparks from Samaria Berry, Taszia Adkinson, and Ja'Myra Tyler, who each contributed kills to stop short runs. But Paul Quinn's attack, led by Carrie Weston and Jamya Fields, was relentless. Weston tallied multiple kills in the middle of the set, while Fields and Jakayla Morrow added insurance points to keep SUNO from closing the gap.
Although the Knights showed fight late—picking up points through Berry, Tyler, and Adkinson—the early deficit proved too steep. Paul Quinn sealed the set 25–9, and with it, the match victory.
